If you pay attention enough, will find out actually the small funds have no shares to dump hmin below $33 level , which has been built for quite a while. Even the unlucky dragon earning still hold this support.
This early morning, only 10,000 shares are used to trap short selling and panic selling.
No others , just no MM has the power. For those long, you should feel safe around $33. this early morning when I got to $34.9, I sold my speculation components for a profit, though not much. I just trade it according to my speculation purpose. Its $35 valuation should be just fine.
And much buying has been found around $34 level, as a result, $33.9 will be another support for short term.
From FA aspect, there is no downgrade on HMIN
DXPE continues their Journey after the peanut breakout.
Today could be another beautiful day as GOOG, ICE, BOT ran out of gate to lead the market.

because I promise to help ppl to make the money back in case they lost by following my pick. I am lazy and old, just don't want to carry too much responsibilities, that's why I didn't post the list this morming.
btw, you spent too much time on mitbbs, you should learn from carol. he is abstention. remember, even you got tons of praise, it dosen't worth 1 penny in the wallet.
when I used to watering in mit stock. I bash ppl. my rp really wasn't that good as qianhu and zzpt. actually we knew each other after a big fight with shadan and his gang. all of the ppl involved in the fight were baned. qianhu had to use his 小红花 to release me. the good thing is I knew qianhu and zzpt since then. the other thing is I always have enemies there afterward. I remember me, shadan, vankie, followtrend(the current id should be littletree) were baned by zzpt. it's just non sense. we all have to pass that stage though.
don't spend time watering around the place, spend time with your family, your friends. that's why after quit trading for 4.5 years, I return. I do it 80% for my family and 10% for fun, and 10% for helping friends.
I don't like bsg's price level. it's my major concern.

I read a little bit about the financial statement of BSG. The missing in last year is really due to its loss in the insurance business(I guess it occurred in its commercial property line). Other than that, everything else looks fine. So it is hard to say that the turning from miss to beat is a good sign.
Actually that loss intrigues my concern. If 9 million insurance loss have such a big impact on their finance, why they don't buy reinsurance to protect them financially?

there are two types of info from such trade. One is to collect stock, the other is to get ride of their position.
One typical example would be HMIN today. Pls open the 5 mins chart of HMIN today, check the price $34.2 and $34. Two straight line with huge volume,indicating a mutual fund is selling their share.

I have not read their financial statement. But typically this happen because they got a contract to borrow the money for a long term. The very very good sign is that they start to have free cash to pay off their debt now.
check their current liability and total liability .
and the additional paid in captial. That could explain why.

Looked at BSG's chart again, when it was straight lines, very little volume were found. Then checked 20-day chart, general tread is going up. It rested on 200 EMA today. With insider buying, I think it is bullish.

Regarding that loss, it indeed resulted from the insurance payout and incurred legal cost. It must be a big loss!!! It reminds me the story happened to GE insurance sector. GE is almost out of this business because of one big loss around 2001.

Though I am not sure which one you are talking about, maybe you could point it out clearly:) Are you talking about income statement or balance sheet?
but normally this extra item may represents a short-term charge to the company which , if applied, may distort the company's normal performance. That is why they list seperately. And you have to look at the notes to find out what it is.

Yes, I like RS's valuation numbers and feel satisfied with their recent business performance and forecast. This is a long term holding. Cut loss at 8% of cost or take profit at 24% gain.

And in my opinion, the stop could set at the foot of its first rally attemp which is $52. hehe

I think the most important lesson I have learned so far is to be patient and let your profit grow once you picked a strong stock in this bull market. I watched FCX making new high, breaking resistance on decent volume today. I cleared all my positions when the stock was consolidating at the 69.5-73 range. It is better to keep the winner than to search new love and try them out.
